- CPNP는 화장품 통지를 위한 유럽 연합의 의무적인 온라인 데이터베이스입니다.
- EU에서 시장 출시 전에 모든 화장품은 규제 준수를 위해 CPNP에 등록되어야 합니다.
Responsible Person: 책임자
- 화장품 규범을 준수하는 유럽연합 안에 있는 선정된 기관 (저희의 경우 Pretty Yeppuda)
- 책임 기관은 유럽화장품 인증 절차를 감독하고 제품 정보 파일(PIF)과 제품의 라벨링을 유지하는 책임을 집니다.
Product Information File (PIF): 제품 정보 파일
- 내용 : 책임자가 작성·유지하는 동물실험 부재 등의 보증을 포함한 제품 성분, 제형, 규제 선언 등에 관한 상세한 정보를 담고 있는 종합적인 파일.
- 안전성과 품질: 안전 평가 (유럽 인증 안전 기관에 의한 CPSR), 안정성 시험 및 미생물 품질 평가를 포함합니다.
Timeline: 소요시간
- 알림 및 PIF 생성: 3-4주 소요
- 안정성 테스트: 대략 3개월 소요. 알림과 동시에 진행되지만 종종 프로세스를 종료하는 마지막 단계입니다.

- 7단계 템플릿 기반 PIF 프로세스를 통해 진행하여 효율성을 극대화 시킵니다.
- 단일 제품 대신 라인으로 분류: 같은 성분의 제품인 라인들을 함께 묶어 훨씬 효율적입니다. 다만 색상은 다를 수 있습니다.
Understanding EU Cosmetic Compliance
Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP):
- What? The CPNP is the European Union’s obligatory online database for cosmetic product notifications.
- Why? Prior to market launch in the EU, all cosmetic products must be registered with the CPNP for regulatory compliance.
Responsible Person:
- Who? A designated entity within the EU responsible for ensuring compliance of cosmetics (in our case Pretty Yeppuda).
- How? They oversee the certification process and are accountable for maintaining the Product Information File (PIF) and the labeling of the products.
Product Information File (PIF):
- Contents: A comprehensive file containing detailed information about product ingredients, formulation, and regulatory declarations, including assurances such as the absence of animal testing, created and maintained by the Responsible Person.
- Safety and Quality: It encompasses safety assessments (CPSR by a certified EU safety assessor), stability tests, and microbiological quality evaluations.
Timeline:
- Notification & PIF Creation: Typically requires 3-4 weeks elapsed.
- Stability Testing: Approximately 3 months, conducted concurrently with notification but often the last step to close the process.
Efficiency in Notification:
- We facilitate this through a 7-step template-driven PIF process.
- Product Lines Over Individual Products: Notification can be batched for product lines with uniform formulations, differing only in colorants, optimizing costs.
